10\/3000<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Where:<\/p>\n<p><strong>320<\/strong> is the hardness value<br \/>\n<strong>HB<\/strong> indicates Brinell hardness<br \/>\n<strong>W<\/strong> indicates the carbide indenter<br \/>\n<strong>10<\/strong> is the diameter of the indenter in millimeters<br \/>\n<strong>3000<\/strong> is the applied load in kg<\/p>\n<p>\ud83d\udc49 The Brinell test is particularly possibility allows fast and non-destructive checks to be carried out directly in the field, reducing downtime, handling operations and the need to transport materials, while guaranteeing timely and possible to work on relatively rough surfaces, as this method is less sensitive to surface finish.<\/p>\n<p>For other types of hardness tests, and in particular for measurements carried out with a portable rebound hardness tester, surface preparation becomes more important and may require more accurate preparation operations in order to guarantee reliable and repeatable
