Remelted, precipitation-hardenable steel for plastic processing molds with excellent polishability and suitability for photo-etching.
Good machinability, suitability for electrical discharge machining (EDM), welding, and nitriding.
Improved compressive strength compared to conventional plastic processing mold steels, owing to the high delivery hardness.
It is supplied at a hardness of approximately 38 HRC.
Suitable for all types of plastic processing molds with specific hardness requirements, such as highly stressed injection molds and compression molds.
