These fundamental properties make BA27 – Cryodur® 2767 an ideal material for a wide range of industrial applications, such as the production of critical components like armor plating, semi-hot stamping tools, blanking operations, and plastic molding dies.
The softening annealing procedure for this steel occurs at temperatures between 610°C and 650°C, with furnace cooling ensuring a maximum hardness of 260 HB.
