Bonomi Acciai is pleased to announce its participation in the important event organized by Tecmet 2000, a leading company in the field of measurement and control instruments, titled “Hobs in Solid Carbide and High-Speed Steel.”

Our Powder & Cold Work Tool Steels Application Manager, Eng. Daniele Magistroni, will give a presentation at 10:00 AM. His talk will focus on powder metallurgy high-speed steels, highlighting how to best select them in relation to the specific requirements of the hob.

The day’s agenda is rich and varied, including topics such as post-sharpening challenges for tools, the choice between sintered steel and carbide, the consequences of wear and overheating, and the most advanced measurement techniques.

This study day is primarily aimed at mechanical processing department operators, companies performing surface treatments (CVD and PVD), companies performing heat treatments on tool steels, manufacturers and users of gear hobs, technical office operators, purchasing office operators, and quality control department operators.
